Service Manager



The Service Manager Oversees service operations for the location to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Grows profitable service labor sales and exercises disciplined expense control. Attracts, retains, and effectively engages department personnel. Ensures job/labor efficiency and quality. Creates and maintains an efficient job schedule.

Essential Functions

Issue Purchase orders
Contact Vendors for quotes and order updates
Review Purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy
Forward Purchasing orders and packing slips to appropriate individuals or departments
Complete receiving paperwork for incoming and outgoing jobs
Prepare quotes for service request
Finalize Service orders and invoice
Finalize work orders and post
Oversees the shop calendar and scheduling of all jobs
Oversees all Special-Order Parts, ordering, inventory and receiving
Shop inventory replacement
Answer Phones
Greet and assist customers
Ensures the quality of completed jobs are in compliance with SEP standards
Liaison between the shop and customers
Oversees and ensures the integrity of SEP employee cell phone accounts
Ensures the shop/job schedule remains on course, is organized for efficiency and that all jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Requirements

High school degree or equivalent
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills
Adept in technology
Proficient in MS Office

Compensation: 30k - 50k
